Dear Zahara,
It is with pleasure that I write to thank you for all that you have done for us to sell the property on Harding Avenue. I must tell you that I was impressed with you from the first moment we met when you came to look at the apartment. Your enthusiasm and can-do attitude coupled with your obvious knowledge and "saviness" caused Gloria and me to immediately ask you to represent us as our real estate agent to sell our property.
We were vindicated in our confidence when, a day after we signed our contract, your suggested price proved to be absolutely correct and you found an interested buyer.
You may recall, when you looked at the apartment, you suggested that it be emptied, cleaned and painted prior to showing it to prospective clients. Gloria and I and our son Brett worked feverishly to empty the apartment that weekend in September. In the end we ran out of time and were unable to complete that effort. As the property is in Miami Beach and my wife and I live in Fredericksburg, Virginia, and we had to return home within a few days to go back to work, it would have been extremely difficult for us to effect the necessary improvements to make the sale possible. With kindness above and beyond the call of duty you offered to engage people to complete the emptying of the apartment and to manage the cleaning and painting efforts for us. Not only did you make the arrangements to have the place professionally cleaned, but you also arranged for it to be painted; the end result was outstanding and I am convinced that without your help we would have had a far more difficult job of putting the condominium apartment on the market.
Under the circumstance (my father-in-law, whose apartment we were selling, had just passed away) you were not merely our real estate agent, but you also became our concerned friend. Again, please accept our heartfelt gratitude for all that you did and for your outstanding efficiency in accomplishing this sale.
